Thank you so much for your kind words about my efforts the other day.

I'm so gratified to hear my session was popular!

I have seen India as a 'sleeping giant' in terms of type 2 diabetes and metabolic health. Your conference was a very significant step towards awaking that giant. Imagine if together we could galvanise your mighty country into improving the nation's diet and beating Type 2 Diabetes into remission!!

Now there is an audacious goal!!

Being part of India’s 1st  Low Carb Conference, is an honour and privilege. I am delighted to have been supporting this group since its inception. Metabolic health problems are not just in my community – they are worldwide. India’s impending health crisis is mine, and yours, no matter where you are. Our combined efforts offer some hope for turning this around for individuals and communities, and hopefully all of us.”

"This conference was a wonderful opportunity for the invited speakers to share their knowledge with highly knowledgeable interviewers. My experience was that of pure professionalism. It also had a significant impact on attendees, just based on the many questions I received after the conference via X, LinkedIn, and Facebook. This conference, with its multiple angles on metabolic therapies for various health conditions, was a comprehensive guide to all at all levels, from the person struggling to the scientist and medical doctor. A job very well done."

I am looking forward to future collaboration with your organization.

This was again an outstanding 5/5 conference and a remarkable contribution to the global metabolic health movement.

The Metabolic Health Conference consistently brings together diverse, knowledgeable voices to challenge conventional thinking, advance meaningful discussion, and translate metabolic science into practical solutions.

What makes this initiative particularly impressive is its commitment to education and accessibility. Four global conferences, entirely self-funded and completely free to attend. It has been a privilege to contribute alongside such passionate speakers and organizers.

Congratulations on another exceptional conference, and thank you for your continued dedication to improving metabolic health in India and around the world.

The Metabolic Health Conference 2023 was incredible.  Highlighting a wide range of health professionals, from different specialities across the globe, it was inspiring, informative and most importantly clinically relevant.  Understanding how to manage patients from diverse cultural groups was unique and extremely interesting.  The team at Metabolic Health Conference were incredibly well organised (the best I have encountered) with smooth prompt communication, excellent technical support and seamless delivery of a world class event.  Congratulations to everyone! I'd love to be involved again!

I would like to extend a big thank you for including me in this massive, inaugural event.

It was so well organised, ran so smoothly & had some really 'big' name speakers & leaders in the field taking part.

The presentations were so comprehensive & I particularly like the global input to the subject eg low carb in New Zealand for example.

It was an honour to take part & share my passion & enthusiasm for carbohydrate reduction.

I am already looking very much forward to the next event.

"I am really excited about the work Shashi and Team are doing to bring healthy eating to India. There is a big need for better nutrition all over the world. There hasn't been a lot of exposure to low carb diets in India but with diabetes on the rise, it is badly needed. Their work will help many people reverse the effects of diabetes and obesity." - Craig Emmerich

Dear Shashi,

Thank you so much for including me in your amazing low carb marathon!!

I loved talking with you and was inspired by your clever questions and in-depth knowledge.

So many great presenters! I’ve listened to many of them and of course my favourites are the kidney people: Dr Gupta and Prof Weimbs. It breaks my heart for all those people with metabolic illnesses and chronic kidney disease who are being told to restrict protein. I feel it’s potentially very harmful.

Thank you for all you do. You are inspiring and saving lives!!!

Dear Shashi,

It my pleasure to participate in your conference and thank you again for having me.

Here are some thoughts that you are welcome to share:

"Besides the many top-notch speakers, what I most liked about the Metabolic Health Conference - India was that the talks were conducted as interviews. This format makes the presentations easier to listen to and allows for follow-up questions and answers. The fact that the entire conference is freely available on Youtube is amazing and will greatly increase the impact in India and worldwide."

I hope to interact you with you again soon.

All the best

The platform that Shashi has created is a confident step forward in India's journey to Metabolic Health. The response from the public shows that India is ready for a change in paradigms in healthcare. By collaborating with the top Metabolic Health and low-carb physicians around the world, they have created a destination for Indians to come together. It was a huge task to pull off such a large-scale event and make such rich content freely available via the internet for all. This is a testament to the fact that they recognise the tremendous work ahead. India is dealing with an urgent metabolic crisis; the course of which can be changed if we help each other awaken to our potential to reclaim our health!

Let's continue the work!

Words fall short of appreciating your massive efforts to pull off such an amazing low-carb metabolic conference in a Diabetic Country like India.

I believe you and the team have started a revolution in this country, targeting the exact needs of the hour and this was just beginning.

Thank you for making me a part of this conference and giving me the platform to express my views on the topic of low-carb and holistic lifestyle changes.

Even if one person preaches about low-carb nutrition to two or other people, India will witness a massive revolution towards Healthy India and the majority of us know that you were one of the major pillars of this revolution.

Let’s transform India into a healthier one and make India a Low Carb country.

It was a great pleasure to participate in the first global metabolic health conference which had a selection of some of the leading experts in the field of low carb interventions sports and exercise. Greetings ! Dear Shashikant, and entire team you guys truly deserve a standing ovation. Hats off to you guys. I want to express my deep gratitude for standing up for me and for the opportunity.

A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step" is a common saying that originated from a Chinese proverb. And after pulling Metabolic Health Conference India’s first low carb conference off, this proverb is truly for you beautiful souls.

I had no idea that the program would stretch over 3 days and 36 hours, that too having main experts of the subject such as Prof. Tim Noakes, Dr Eric Westman and Dr Shawn Baker et al. I was also amazed at the depth of data and knowledge presented exclusively by Indian researchers in the event. The best decision to make it completely free by the organisers for everyone live and these talks will be available free of charge on YouTube as well. I hope to learn and refine my area of expertise after participating in the conference.

I recently had the privilege of speaking at the online Metabolic Health Conference 2024, which was hosted in India. I must commend the organizers for their exceptional work. The conference was very well organized and reflected a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.

A special shout-out to Shashi & Team, whose efforts were instrumental in uniting many of the world’s foremost experts in low-carb medicine. It was truly remarkable to see such a diverse group of leaders sharing the same platform and advancing our collective understanding of this important field.

Thank you very much for inviting me to speak at the 2nd Metabolic Health Conference - India.
Similar to the 1st Metabolic Health Conference organized in India, the 2nd was also very informative. The team brought experts and enthusiasts from different parts of the world to explore metabolic therapies. I was honoured to speak and share my personal experience on ketogenic, and carnivore diets for the attendees' metabolic health. Commendations to Shashikant Iyengar and Team for their leadership and everyone in their team for organizing such events in a region where carbs and especially grains are falsely considered an integral part of the diet and a redline.

Wishing you and your team all the best in your journey to educate people to make healthy dietary choices.

I was very excited to see this metabolic health conference headline the topic of seed oils, and very much enjoyed being part of this event. It breaks my heart that American mainstream medicine has exported cholesterol-phobia and seed-oils around the world. India has been ahead of the civilization curve for the past 4,000 years or so, and if any country can figure out how to shift their farmlands from growing these harmful substances back to permaculture/integrated agricultural products that can sustain the soil and human health, I think it’s going to be India. Please, please, share these free lectures far and wide, we need all hands on deck to stop the massacre!

The conference was a joy to be involved in.  To be able to be part of an international effort and be featured with many that I admire was a true pleasure. Hearing from other drs and experts around the world that also have a passion for metabolic health and their passion to help people is something that needs a big voice like this was able to capture. It was an honor to be amongst the 40+ invited speakers of the 3rd annual Metabolic Health Conference. It is so much more than a conference. It is a metabolic revolution--a movement of advocacy for real change. Shashi, & Team work tirelessly to advocate for the metabolic health of India & the world. It is estimated that 1 billion people suffer with a Mental Health issue. The most powerful intervention for the remission of mental illness is a ketogenic carnivore diet. Metabolic health equals mental health. Thank you for allowing me to share healing & freedom from mental illness with India & the entire world.

I have been attending and presenting at low-carb conferences for years. I’ve yet to see anything that compares with the Metabolic Health Conference organised by Shashi & Team. Many thanks for having me and hope I was useful at the conference.

I am glad to hear the progress that your group has made and wish you more achievements in coming years.

As you are aware, our major effort goes  towards seeking policy changes to curb marketing ( Labelling, advertising, sponsorships etc.), May I request your group to make it part of your call if possible after due consideration. As your movement grows, so will be the voices from the public which might affect policy decisions.

Please feel free to use my talk in any manner that you like to.

Thank you very much organizers for the wonderful  metabolic health conference ..I attended the third one and my heart is full of gratitude for the knowledge shared!

Having been in the medical field for about 26 years now...I know how difficult it is to arrange a conference!

Nothing comes free...registrations for a conference in India cost a bomb!

Sharing so much authentic knowledge which is going to be the Cutting edge in Diabetes management and that too for free is truly commendable!

I appreciate your immense dedication  and commitment  in co ordinating, getting experts in this field to share such wonderful expertise!

Their experience and expertise was very enriching!

Standing against the flow takes immense courage and strength!

I am thankful to all the experts who participated and  selflessly shared their expertise!

All I can see and appreciate is the huge  courage steely will  and humongous effort to make this happen!

Gratitude would be a small word as an expression to what I gained from it!

I can only  say I am richer by attending this online event!

Looking forward to more of such events..

All the best team!

A truly outstanding 4th Metabolic Health Conference

We learned so much from every speaker. The science was explained clearly, but what impressed me most was how practical the presentations were. The speakers did not simply describe the problems—they offered simple ideas that people could understand, discuss with their doctors and apply in everyday life.

The conference also helped me better understand my own experience: how seven of my eight serious metabolic health conditions began improving remarkably within the first seven days of making major lifestyle changes.

Thank you, Shashikant, the organising team and all the speakers for making such valuable knowledge accessible to everyone, free of charge. Please continue this important work—you are helping people learn, act and improve their health.

Presenting at Metabolic Health Conference 4.0 was an absolute highlight and pleasure!

My session focused on challenging the standard "disease of excess" paradigm by diving into India’s unique history where generations of maternal undernutrition and low protein intake met a modern deluge of refined grains, industrial sugar, and high-glycemic carbohydrates.

Unpacking how this mismatch feeds into hepatic fructose metabolism, liver fat accumulation, and the classic 'thin-fat Indian' phenotype sparked incredible engagement.

Shashi and the MHC team have created an unparalleled global platform for rigorous science and real-world solutions.

Honored to contribute to this critical dialogue!

The 4th Metabolic Health Conference you organised was absolutely fantastic. Having watched the videos from previous years, I can see how much it is growing each year. You have done a remarkable job and I am genuinely running out of superlatives to describe it!

You brought together an excellent group of speakers, all delivering one clear and powerful message. The conference truly hit the nail on the head: it explained where India went wrong, but more importantly, it offered a solution. Metabolic diseases are reversible and they are not our inevitable destiny as Indians.

Kudos to you, Shashi. Shabash! I can only imagine how much bigger and better the conference will be next year.

Tanmoy Das Dr_edited.jpg

Dr. Tanmoy Das, MD - India

The 4th Metabolic Health Conference held from 21st–23rd August has been a timely and important initiative, drawing attention to the rapidly growing metabolic health crisis facing our country.

With obesity, diabetes, fatty liver disease, hypertension and cardiovascular disease rising at an alarming pace, greater awareness of their shared metabolic roots is urgently needed. Conferences such as this help translate evolving scientific evidence into practical strategies centred on nutrition, physical activity, sleep, stress management and other sustainable lifestyle interventions.

Most importantly, they reinforce the message that much of this disease burden is potentially preventable—and that improving metabolic health must become a priority for individuals, healthcare professionals and public-health policy alike.

Hats off to Mr. Shashikant Iyengar & team, for consistently taking the leadership of organizing this conference of intentional standards and keeping it free of cost. This is much needed. My heartiest congratulations to him and best wishes for future events.

Many thanks for inviting me to be a part of the MHC 4.0.. It was a pleasure to be amidst such esteemed speakers, visionaries, health advocates, coaches, researchers, and doctors from across the globe. And kudos to you and your team for bringing this wealth of a network together to educate the larger audience, and provide them with deeper insights into the world of metabolic health and low carb.

More importantly, despite it being the 4th edition of the MHC, it continues to fascinate the world with its quality, information and latest updates on information, and you manage to do all of this for free. Thanks!

Metabolic Health Conference 4.0 advanced an urgently needed conversation in India about nutrition, metabolic health, food systems, sustainability, and chronic disease.

The Metabolic Health Conference community are committed to questioning conventional assumptions, examining the evidence with an open mind, and bringing together perspectives that too often remain separated.

It was a privilege to return to MHC and contribute an agricultural perspective to that conversation—exploring how the foods we produce, and the agricultural systems that produce them, connect with human health

It was an honor to take part in the 2026 Metabolic Health Summit, Metabolic Health Crisis: Where India Went Wrong — and How to Fix It.

I was impressed by the lineup of speakers, all working to raise awareness of metabolic dysfunction as an underlying root cause of the majority of chronic conditions.

It was meaningful for me to speak specifically about my own experience using metabolic therapies—including a vegetarian ketogenic diet—to put my bipolar 1 disorder into remission.

The potential of metabolic therapies to help people heal from chronic physical and mental conditions is profound. It's critical that people in India learn about this potential, including the fact that ketogenic therapy can be done successfully as a vegetarian.

The conference was incredibly well-organized and is helping pave the way toward better health outcomes across India.
