Shashikant (Shashi) Iyengar is one of India's most highly certified Low-Carb Nutrition Coaches, with over 12 professional certifications in low-carbohydrate and ketogenic nutrition.
He is a Certified Nutrition Network Coach Practitioner™ and serves as a teaching faculty member for the Nutrition Network's Taining Programs.
A former pharmaceutical professional with 35 years of experience at Abbott and Pfizer, Shashi has a deep understanding of disease processes, medications, and patient care.
He is the founder of Metabolic Health India, where he helps individuals improve Type 2 Diabetes, obesity, fatty liver, hypertension, PCOS, CKD, and other metabolic health conditions through evidence-based low-carbohydrate nutrition.
Shashi is also the author and subject of a published peer-reviewed research paper in the journal Frontiers in Nutrition documenting his own 10-year medication-free remission of Type 2 Diabetes using a culturally adapted low-carbohydrate diet - one of the longest documented cases from India.
In addition to coaching clients globally, he is the founder of the Metabolic Health Conference of India, one of India's leading educational platforms dedicated to metabolic health, low-carbohydrate nutrition, and ketogenic therapies.
The event is his brainchild. He conceptualised and executed it.
